Hyderabad is the capital city of Telangana in India. It is also known as the “City of Pearls” because of its historic pearl and diamond trading. Restaurants in the city serve both traditional and modern cuisines.

Charminar is a famous landmark in Hyderabad. It was built in the year 1591 by Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah. Golconda Fort is another historic monument that once controlled the diamond trade. Chowmahalla Palace was built by the Nizams and is open to visitors. Mecca Masjid is the biggest mosque in India and is near Charminar. Hyderabad has a well-connected transport system. Rajiv Gandhi International Airport is located in Shamshabad and connects the city to many countries. Hyderabad Deccan railway station, also called Nampally station, links the city to all major Indian cities. The city also has Secunderabad and Kacheguda stations. The Hyderabad Metro Rail runs across three main corridors. TSRTC buses provide transport within the city and to nearby towns. Roads like Outer Ring Road and PV Narasimha Rao Expressway improve traffic flow.

Tourism is a major part of Hyderabad’s identity. Ramoji Film City is the world’s largest film studio complex. Nehru Zoological Park is a famous attraction for families. Snow World is an indoor theme park with artificial snow. Shilparamam is an arts & crafts village that displays Indian handicrafts. Lumbini Park, located near Hussain Sagar, has laser shows and boat rides. Tourists also visit Necklace Road, which surrounds the lake.
